About Hydrocracker
|
|
|
Hydrocracker is a
UK-based theatre company with a reputation for "site specific theatre with a
purpose."
Hydrocracker's work
is “an alliance between formal experiment and rich content”
(Michael Billington, The Guardian). It ranges from the site specific to
the intimate, giving audiences a visceral experience of other
worlds, of stories that challenge beliefs and set imaginations alight.
The company is committed to educational and community
outreach at a practical and accessible level. Many of our productions have
involved local groups as performers and seek to bring theatre to new audiences both through workshop and through performance in unusual settings.
Hydrocracker is grateful for project funding from the Arts Council of England
and from Brighton Festival, and is an Associate Company of the Brighton Dome &
Festival. The company is currently looking for substantial long-term funding to realise an ambitious
programme of future productions. Please contact us if
you are interested in becoming a Hydrocracker sponsor, either corporately or as
an individual.
