Access Statement
We are committed to making our work as accessible and inclusive as possible for all audiences, artists, and participants.
As our work often takes place outside of a traditional theatre space, it can present both exciting opportunities and access challenges. We aim to address this by considering access from the earliest stages of planning, working closely with venues, partners, and consultants to ensure our performances are accessible.
We endeavour to provide accessible formats such as captioned, audio described, relaxed and British Sign Language (BSL) performances. We will clearly list access provisions for each production in advance so audiences can plan their visit with confidence.
We are committed to inclusive working practices within our company. We strive to create rehearsal and performance environments that are respectful, flexible, and responsive to individual needs, including adjustments for anyone that needs them.
We are developing an access-led approach to our practice, integrating elements such as creative captioning, British Sign Language (BSL), and audio description into the fabric of our work, rather than treating them as add-ons. We are particularly interested in how access can enhance the artistic experience for all audiences.
Access is an ongoing process, and we recognise there is always more to learn and improve. We welcome feedback from our audiences and collaborators to help us continue developing our approach.
