She’s Electric
(2025)

She’s Electric is a funny, fierce and deeply moving one-woman show about being the last line of defence - a deep dive into the psyche of a goalkeeper, and a love letter to the women who have shaped the beautiful game, both on and off the pitch.

Inspired by the trailblazing Lioness Rachel Brown-Finnis and Mary Earps, this is not just a story about sport, it’s a celebration of women’s football, its ongoing fight for recognition, and the sheer, bare-faced determination it takes to stand tall when the world is watching.

The men’s game had Dear England at the National Theatre. Now it’s time for the women’s game to take the stage - and aim for the West End.

To make this happen, we are raising £3,600 to commission award-winning playwright Chloe Todd Fordham to write the script and bring this electrifying new production to life.

If SHE’S ELECTRIC resonates with you - or if you know someone who might get behind it - we would be incredibly grateful for your support.

Please take a moment to visit our Kickstarter page and consider making a contribution. If you’re able to, please share it widely - with friends, colleagues, and across your networks.

Every bit of support helps bring this important story to the stage.

Thank you for helping us make this happen

I fell in love with Chloe’s play the moment I read it. It leapt off the page and into my heart.
